This song is the bop of all bops. I've grown up with this song my parents playing it and jamming to it, so this song brings back lots of memories. I really like the whole vibe that the beach bois give with a couple of sounds it fits them. This song has so many different sounds and unique styles. It feels like you could cut up and make like five or six different songs just from all the varying parts of the song. The song starts off with a cool, calm, and quiet vibe which feels like it will lead the song to something totally different. Then it comes in with the very strong and iconic chorus that makes you wanna move. Then slowly shifting into another smooth and soft part where they are just harmonizing is so cool to listen to. The diversity in this song is so cool. This is another love song that totally works its way into your heart. It gives off the same vibe as the band love Händel in Phineas and Ferb. They don't really song similar, but there is just a similar vibe for some r...
Firstly, this song is a freaking bop. I feel like Nirvana has a lot of songs that are just as good as this one, but this one just got really popular. Their run was definitely way too short. This song is definitely a classic that everyone has heard though. I think that it really sums up their whole grunge genre really well. I think that the album cover is really funny. A naked baby chasing a dollar bill. There is definitely a lot of symbolism here too. My favorite part of listening to these older songs is listening to the emotions in these songs and that is usually prorated through the lyrics. That being said, my favorite part of this song is the lyrics. What Nirvana does is have a lot of meaning behind everything, and I am a big fan of that. I think music that means something is just better most of the time. The song is named after a deodorant brand that they thought was just a cool phrase. I think the lyrics here really resonate with people. I think they really do so even today. ...
I can kinda see a connection between this and some of the older country singers. Just his dialect and the words he uses makes a connection. He seemed very well-liked at the time for this type of music. I'm not a big fan of this style of music. This song is slower, but more so in the way, he just talks slow. Not in the way most are where they drag out their words and show more emotion. He puts his emotions and meaning into the writing more so than like how he sings I think It is pretty impressive that he still could sing so well in his old age. I think that the song is talking about being pure. It also kinda talks about how hard it is to stay like that and make it into heaven. I feel like most of the songs in this era and genre are love songs, adventure, and death. This one being about heaven and trying to be worthy is an interesting twist on that for sure. This song is just like a hymn where people could sing it in congregation too. There are recordings of this song from whe...
