I want to be sedated by the Ramones

 I have liked this song for a long time. I heard it for the first time several years ago and ever since I knew it was true love. I really enjoy the sound the Ramones have. It is very reminiscent of the music in movies in tv shows I grew up with. I think the sound they make falls into a good category where if you just want to jam out loud in your car then can do it easily and have a great time. I can see late at night driving down roads for no particular reason just jamming out with friends and just having a great night. On the other hand, there is a meaning for the song. If you can't connect with people then life's not worth living. They also wrote the song when the manager they had was overworking them and making them tour 360 days a year. During this time you can easily imagine how life would feel monotonous and kinda boring at some point too. I feel like the music video does a good job of conveying this too. There is just so much going on as they sit at the table just eating cereal or going about their business. I really enjoy the energy and sound that they give off. the sound they give sounds off kinda reminds me of some blink-182 too. I think this is a really cool song.
